RWW Team Visits Southern Cotton

Recently, our Sales and Head Office team had the privilege of touring Southern Cotton, an esteemed facility known for its top-notch cotton ginning services in the Southern Valleys.

Southern Cotton, based in Whitton Riverina, Southern NSW, has been a beacon of excellence since 2012. The diverse and productive region contributes over $5 billion dollars annually to the Australian economy – with cotton ginning playing a significant factor.

Southern Cotton is one of Australia’s leading Cotton Gin’s, with the story beginning from 6 farmer friends – whose determination and persistence saw the $25 million gin, built in 12 months. The first Southern Cotton bale was ginned in 2012 setting the record of 166,234 bales in their first year and in 2021 – Southern Cotton ginned 1.5 million bales to date.
