Celebrating Our Partnership With Wiradjuri Elder Michael Lyons

Michael holds deep cultural knowledge as an elder of the Wiradjuri tribe, residing in the very same area where our RWW Group Head Office is located. He is highly respected within the community for his contributions and commitment to preserving Aboriginal traditions.

As part of his daily activities, Michael engages in traditional wood carvings for the tourism industry and conducts reburial ceremonies for indigenous burial sites discovered in the local area. These practices reflect his dedication to honoring his heritage and ensuring the preservation of Indigenous culture.

We are honored to collaborate with Michael, as his exceptional artwork will grace our garments with traditional paintings that he proudly produces. Through this partnership, we aim to create a strong bond between our communities, fostering alignment, understanding, and respect for the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

At RWW Group, we take great pride in supporting and celebrating Indigenous artists like Michael Lyons. This partnership signifies our commitment to cultural diversity and the empowerment of First Nations people. Together, we look forward to creating new opportunities and sharing the beauty and richness of Aboriginal art with the world.

Join us on this inspiring journey as we merge the worlds of art and fashion, while honoring the traditions and wisdom of the Wiradjuri tribe through the incredible talent of Michael Lyons.
