Evolution Mining is a prominent Australian gold company that has a strong focus on growth. It currently operates six gold mines in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia, employing more than 1300 staff members. In the financial year that ended on June 30, 2016, Evolution Mining produced 803,476 ounces of gold.

RWW Group was selected by Evolution Mining as a partner to streamline supplier management, reduce costs and create uniformity in product offerings across all sites by consolidating suppliers and rationalizing the product range. The goal was to standardize Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) across all six mine sites in Australia.
At the time of engagement, Evolution Mining was working with over 10 suppliers and had over 500 product lines, highlighting the need for consolidation.

RWW Group introduced the Total Apparel Management Solution (TAMS) for Evolution Mining, which includes an agreed catalogue for clothing, footwear, and PPE across the organization or on a site-by-site basis. The implementation of a core Evolution Mining range for these items provided product consolidation, leading to cost savings from reducing both direct and indirect expenses associated with multiple suppliers.
The outcomes include greater visibility over departmental spend and PPE allocation, a streamlined product range, annual fixed pricing with quarterly business reviews and annual pricing reviews.
