OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

At RWW Group, we understand the importance of giving back to the communities we serve and protecting the planet we all call home. As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, we have implemented a number of initiatives aimed at creating positive social and environmental impacts.

This includes partnering with local charities and community groups, sponsoring events and programs that support education, health and well-being, and taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint through sustainable practices such as using electric forklifts and promoting eco-friendly products. We believe that by being socially responsible, we can make a difference in the world and contribute to a better future for all.

INDIGENOUS
OPPORTUNITIES.

At RWW Group, we are committed to building strong relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Our vision is based on mutual understanding, respect, and alignment with the community's values and significance. We are proud and excited about the opportunities that collaboration with these communities will bring.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is the foundation for creating a positive and collaborative environment where both our employees and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities can thrive. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for everyone.

Electric
FLEET.

Our electric forklifts are an eco-friendly option as they produce no emissions, making them better for the environment and the health of the operator and other workers. Their energy consumption is optimized as they only use the energy that is needed for operation, and they are energy efficient both when working and on standby as they do not heat up. Additionally, the batteries used in our electric forklifts are mostly made of lead, which is fully recyclable, making them an environmentally sustainable choice.

Machinery

Hardhat
RECYCLING.

Did you know hardhats have a 12-month life for the suspension system and 5 years for the outside shell. That’s why RWW has a recycling program to collect these hats and recycle and repurpose the plastic used in manufacturing.

We have also partnered with Kurrajong Recycling Centre to ensure that we recycle as much as possible as-well-as support local Australian business, and their not-for-profit organisation which aims to meet the needs of people with disabilities so that they can lead a life of their choice.

They are a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and reach all communities across the Riverina Murray region. They offer local access to creative and social programs, therapies, short and long-term accommodation, community access, employment readiness and supported employment.

Their business focus is processing recyclable household and business materials for sale to recycling materials traders and manufacturers both nationally and internationally.
